Have you hit a speed bump on your bodyboarding road to perfection? Or perhaps you’re interested in learning something completely new while enjoying the delights of the Cornish coast? Our Bodyboard Coaching Weekend in Newquay is designed to provide you with a full weekend of expert tuition under the guidance of our passionate instructors.

Throughout the weekend, you will be taken to some of the best bodyboarding spots in and around the vibrant town of Newquay. It’s gained the reputation as being the surf capital of the UK for good reason, and our coaches will do everything they can to live up to that name over the course of the weekend. We have unique knowledge of seven local swell-filled sandy bays; and it’s here that you will ply your trade and absorb the invaluable expertise of our experienced instructors.

With our centrally-located state of the art HQ, we also benefit from being just a short walk from both Towan and Fistral beach. Each beach provides different waves on different days and our weekend guides will be keeping an eye on the forecast each evening. This allows us to steer you towards the best waves for your ability and skill level.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Don’t be fooled into thinking only the most hardcore bodyboarders book out an entire weekend of coaching; this isn’t the case at all! You don’t need to have any experience in bodyboarding, just a sense of adventure and a passion for learning. What better way to be introduced to this highly accessible and enjoyable sport than spending a whole weekend on the best waves with expert coaches!

Conversely, if you’ve already mastered the beginning steps to bodyboarding, our coaching weekends will help you take your ability to the next level. Our instructors devote every waking minute to catching waves in and around Newquay, so there’s not much they don’t know and they’ll be excited to share their knowledge.

We don’t send our customers out on bodyboards that we wouldn’t be happy to ride ourselves; that’s why we only invest in the best quality equipment available on the market. We supply first-rate bodyboards, wetsuits and swim fins on our bodyboard Coaching Weekends, putting you in the best possible position to kick-start your learning.

Our helpful instructors will provide you with the correct size bodyboard for your weight, the right size wetsuit for your height and the best fitting swim fins for your feet. This top-quality kit enables faster progression, bigger improvements and makes for an all-round more enjoyable weekend.

All equipment including wetsuits, bodyboards, ID vests and swim fins are provided along with changing facilities and safe storage for your valuables. We also have on-site lockers for bags and clothes so you don’t have to leave your gear unattended on the beach!

WHERE WILL I STAY?

We offer our own bodyboarder-friendly luxury apartment, overlooking the inspiring waves of Fistral beach.

This spacious and modern two bedroom apartment can comfortably sleep six people. Overlooking Pentire headland with amazing sea views, your accommodation is perfectly located close to golden sandy beaches as well as Newquay town centre.

Fistral Beach is just eight minutes walk away, with the Gannel estuary, and a relaxing walk to Crantock beach, even closer. This unique coastal location gives guests the option of taking either a coastal path or main road to nearby hotspots.

Based on the third floor (with elevator and stair access) our apartment benefits from a large lounge with adjacent private south-facing balcony; both perfect for catching some sun, checking the surf and taking in the amazing pink sunsets. The cost of our luxury apartment is dependent on the number of guests staying. It is generally charged between £40 to £50 per person per night, please contact us for further info.
