ENROL YOUR CHILD AT EUROPES #1 BODYBOARDING SCHOOL!
Bodyboards are smaller and lighter than surfboards; this means they’re generally easier to manoeuvre and quicker to learn on. These smaller boards, combined with a lower centre of gravity, make bodyboarding much less tiring than surfing. It’s also widely considered a much safer sport as the boards are made from foam and they avoid the sharp edges and fins synonymous with surfing. What better way to introduce your child to the ocean!
Due to the nature of bodyboarding, your child’s lower centre of gravity increases the feeling of speed. This means that catching even the slowest of waves will make them feel like they’re whizzing past the rest of their group in a magnificent blur!
If they’re a complete beginner, we guarantee they’ll be catching their first white-water wave within the first 10 minutes of the lesson! We’ll teach them how to paddle out, trim correctly and how to select the right kind of waves for their ability.
Bodyboarding is addictive to learn due to early goals being quickly attained. The initial learning curve of bodyboarding skyrockets exponentially with solid practice and time in the water.
BODYBOARDING LESSONS SPECIALLY DESIGNED FOR KIDS
Our junior Bodyboarding Lessons are open to any child who wants to learn or progress their bodyboarding ability. Whether they’ve never touched a bodyboard before or if they’re already adept at riding the inside of a tube; our expert and child-friendly instructors will be able to boost their confidence and improve their skill within their first lesson.
We provide young riders with the chance to surf together, learn from our industry experts and analyse each other’s technique all within a safe and supervised environment.
EXPERT INSTRUCTORS
Our Surfing England qualified, experienced and insured coaches are second to none when it comes to beach safety and tuition. These include British Team Coach and former European bodyboarding champion, Rob Barber. Our sessions offer a safe environment for young riders to enhance and progress their ability within their comfort zone.
Competition standard or a brand new booger, we welcome everyone. Through our outdoor activities for kids, we’re here to ensure the next generation of UK bodyboarders are the best yet!
