Stag & Hen Waterperson Day

Utilising three Hawaiian water expert skills that lend this day its name, your stag or hen party will experience the ocean via a trio of staple water activities. The morning will be dedicated to catching the perfect wave using a variety of popular boards. You’ll be introduced to the worlds of bodyboarding and surfing and our instructors will give you plenty of time to nail those epic moves.

Following a fun morning of wave riding, your stag or hen party will stop for lunch with ample time to explore Newquay’s independent coffee shops and lunch spots. To give you the best chance of refuelling yourself, we will provide you with a discount card for our favourite local restaurants and bars. In the afternoon you’ll all be kitted up again, this time with buoyancy aids, helmets and wetsuits. From here you’ll head out to the intertidal zones of Newquay to learn coasteering skills and correct safety practices. These will help you negotiate ocean swells, experience low-level climbing and leap from cliff jumps into deep-water plunge pools. This day has it all!

STAGS

We guarantee that everyone in the group will catch a wave while bodyboarding. This low centre of gravity watersport is easy to learn and suitable for all ages and abilities. From here it’s time for the bigger boards, follow our expert instructors advice and jump to your feet for some stand-up surfing. In the afternoon you will enjoy an epic coasteering session that explores the fascinating coastline of Newquay. Depending on your stag groups preference, we can adjust our route to deliver ultimate adrenaline or complete relaxation, or a mixture of the two! Whatever your preference we’ll create a day that suits the dynamic of your stag party and an unforgettable experience.

All of our instructors are beach lifeguard-qualified and experienced with stag groups, they love the action as much as you! Our pro-standard equipment is suited to all levels of ability.

HENS

The morning bodyboarding session will guarantee smiles from the whole hen party as you’ll be catching waves within the first 10 minutes of hitting the water. Our expert coaches will teach you the correct techniques to catch some unforgettable waves no matter your age or ability!

Bodyboarding nailed, it’s now time to use your new skills to ride the bigger surfboards. You have to try surfing when you visit Newquay; it’s a local bylaw! Can you beat the bride-to-be for the first successful pop-up of the day?

After lunch you’ll choose whether you want your coasteering experience to be mellow or extreme. Whatever your preference, we always create hen weekends and experiences that fit the dynamic of your hen party. It’s all about fun!
