Uber trendy and super easy to get the hang of, stand up paddle boarding (SUP) is taking the world by storm and we’ve given it a cool stag and hen-do twist. Master this awesome watersport while giving your groom or bride-to-be a hilarious send off with the breath-taking backdrop of Newquay’s stunning coastline.
Our bespoke stag and hen SUP adventures are tailored to your requirements with intensity levels ranging from laidback sunset sessions to adrenaline fuelled SUP races. Crazy hens, party-hard stags or mellow pre-wedding chillers; we’ve got you covered!
This stag and hen activity has got a serious wow factor. Not only does gliding across the ocean, paddle in hand, look supremely sleek (social media brownie points) but it’s one of the most adventurous ways to explore the coastline. And with a bottle of bubbly waiting for you back on the shoreline, you’ll certainly feel an air of exclusivity to round off your stag or hen-do activity in Newquay!
LEARN TO STAND UP PADDLEBOARD!
With the correct safety advice and instruction, stand up paddle boarding is quick and easy to learn. First, our instructors will teach your stag or hen group the basics, then the tour kicks off with a unique and exhilarating perspective from which to view Newquay’s dramatic coastline. From the sheltered smugglers coves of Towan Head, to the harbour and Newquay Bay; Newquay has SUP locations and coastal routes perfect for SUP adventures of every description.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Your group will be provided with your own paddleboards, paddles, Rip Curl wetsuits and buoyancy aids at our purpose-designed centre, just a short walk from Towan beach. After a water safety briefing and a lesson in basic paddle skills, you’ll launch from a sheltered section of coastline and begin your stand-up paddleboard stag or hen-do adventure in Newquay!
By the time you step back on dry land, our SUP Lesson & Tour should have transformed you from complete newbie to confident paddler within a few short hours. Our experienced instructors will take you through the motions of standing up with a step-by-step guide on balance and control. Starting out on your knees, you will get a feel for this exciting new sport before advancing to a stand-up position when you feel safe and confident.
Our SUP Lesson & Tour has been designed to teach you many core skills including how to: launch and land, stand up and balance, hold your paddle, perform basic strokes and how to make directional changes. Our experienced instructors will also engage you with tales of the area’s history and information about the wildlife that calls it home.
Animated and fun-loving, our industry-leading instructors seamlessly become part of the group experience, sharing their passion, expertise and first-rate knowledge of the Cornish coastline. We love stag and hen do’s as much as you do and we pride ourselves on delivering a stag or hen do you’ll never forget!

We’re not happy unless you’re happy, so book your stag or hen do today for an experience that everyone will remember!
WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS EXTREME WEATHER?
We are super fortunate to operate many of our activities in the shelter of Towan beach. We choose the tide and weather times that deliver the very best conditions for stag and hen do’s. However, we are at the mercy of Mother Nature and sometimes she may have different plans for us. We always check the forecasted conditions but if the wind or swell picks up unexpectedly, we may need to change the time or location of your session. Alternatively, we can move your booking onto a different activity, safe from unsuitable or dangerous conditions.
Over 95% of our tours go ahead unaffected by the weather but, in the unlikely event that this does happen, we have excellent back-up options for you to choose from. If we need to amend your stag or hen do activity due to adverse weather, we will let you know in advance. (No need to call us). We appreciate your understanding.
