What lies beneath
Snorkelling’s not just for the ocean. The abundant wildlife of the Gannel make it a fascinating and unique place to explore below the surface. Discover crabs and mullet and look for the giant Gobi that inhabits the reeds at Penpol Creek.
After leaving Penpol Creek, you’ll head downstream and moor your kayak at the site of a local shipwreck. Wearing snorkelling masks, dive off your kayak and explore the spooky remains of this sunken boat. Climb back up the mooring and onto your kayak before paddling upstream with your expert instructor.
