SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
For your Eco Super SUP Tour, we’ll kit you out with a top of the range wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet and paddle from the comfort of our heated changing rooms. Once you’re warm and safe, your group will follow one of our guides down to Newquay Bay and help launch this giant craft – all aboard!
We launch and land from two of Newquay’s lush, semi-secret coves. The start to experience is an adventure, as we walk down a rock path to the water’s edge. It’s worth it as the scenery is breath taking, there is some incredible coastal wildlife in the area, and you really are experiencing the best of Newquay’s coastal fringe. We take the walk down to the water slowly, the Super SUP will be waiting in the cove for you.
Our Eco Super SUP Tour has been designed to teach you many core skills including how to launch and land, stand up and balance, hold your paddle, perform basic strokes and how to make directional changes as a team. It’s natural to begin your Eco Super SUP Tour kneeling down on the board, many people do. Our coaches are there to guide you step-by-step in confidently progressing from kneeling to standing, by the end of the lesson you’ll be a pro!
WHAT IS THE ECO SUPER SUP TOUR?
There really isn’t a better way to explore Cornwall’s ecologically rich coastline than on a large inflatable stand up paddleboard! Don’t forget your waterproof camera as inquisitive grey seals and dolphins will, on occasion, get up close and personal to come and say hi! You’ll also paddle past protected coves and secluded caves that provide the perfect habitat for a wealth of native flora, fauna, wildlife, birdlife and sea life.

With such an abundance to see and discover, our unique Eco Super Stand Up Paddleboard Tour is ideal for groups of nature loving friends, school trips and Scout & Guide outings. Conversely, if you’re just looking for something a little different this year – this is a great way to stay fit whilst learning about Newquay’s rich marine habitats.
We’ll lead you through beach safety and fundamental paddle techniques before launching the Eco Super Stand Up Paddle Board from Newquay Bay. We’ll then guide you along Newquay’s beautiful coastline, abundant in marine, bird and wildlife. Our guides are passionate about our coast and trained to teach you all about our local ecosystems.
THIS IS THE ULTIMATE WAY TO ENJOY OUR COASTLINE!
In addition to becoming an ‘apprentice marine biologist’ you’ll also get the opportunity to have some fun on the open seas. You will be invited to take part in a host of games that will up-skill your technique in preparation for the tour. The Eco Super SUP experience offers an unbeatable balance of education, fun, learning and just the right amount of adrenaline.

OUR EXPERTISE
While well known big wave surfers like Jamie O’Brien made the SUPsquatch or Monster SUP famous by catching huge waves in Hawaii, it was NAC who pioneered the craft for touring.
There was no such thing as a Super SUP tour, it was NAC’s brainchild. We even came up with the name Super SUP!
After launching the company in 1996, we have catered for over 200,000 guest experiences. It is guest feedback that helped us to create our Super SUP tours, Super SUP Coasteers, Super SUP snorkel tours and other bespoke experiences. We’re simply re creating what we have spent our lives doing on the Newquay coastline. Director Rob Barber shared his experiences of cave exploration, lagoon snorkelling and sluice ride paddling and the thousands of 5 star trip advisors have been the result.
Having pioneered the development of the Super SUP tour as an activity, and introducing it to the coastal activity market, we have now, using a hybrid of our coasteering and paddlesports training programmes successfully built a module which is delivered within our 3 month Outdoor Instructor Academy qualification.
