Our comprehensive VIP Kids Surf Camp program covers essential topics such as equipment, waves, tides, wind, surfing techniques, and water skills—all presented in a manner that prioritises both enjoyment and safety.

Newquay Activity Centre’s surf lessons are guaranteed to improve your child’s surfing knowledge, ocean skills and water confidence. We’re here to ensure the next generation of surfers are the best yet!

Our surfing instructors are ISA, Surfing England and Beach Lifeguard qualified as well as being trained in-house to reach world-class standards. From the beach to the water, your kids will be in the best hands whilst having the time of their life!

FUN AND EDUCATIONAL

After a warm up of beach games to get the blood pumping, your kids will be taken through the practical skills of surfing. First we’ll try paddling and popping up on the beach, before hitting the shallows and practicing in the white-water. Smiles are guaranteed as they build their surfing skills under the expert eye of our industry-leading instructors.

HOW IT WORKS

This one of a kind 3 Day Kids Camp runs Monday to Wednesday every week during the summer.

Each session is 2 hours long, starting at 9am.

All equipment is included as well as full tuition and professional supervision at all times.

Each day when the lesson has finished you are free to keep the wetsuit and surfboard (or swap for a bodyboard) for the rest of the day to use as much as you like!

The Newquay Activity Centre is the longest running surf school in Newquay. We use a 1:8 ratio of teachers to students so surfers can receive the attentive tuition they need. We’re also a certified Surfing England Centre of Excellence.

All our surfing lessons and courses have been designed by British Surf Team Coach, Rob Barber. This means that when you learn to surf with us you’re guaranteed the highest level of unparalleled tuition in the industry.

We have a brand new centre, designed in 2021, conveniently located near Towan beach. We have hot outdoor showers, heated changing rooms, lockers, separate male & female toilets, lock boxes for valuables and clothing storage. We also boast a brand new hire centre for all of your post-lesson ocean needs.
