Private Bodyboard Lesson

Our Private Bodyboard Lessons begin with the basics – paddling out, learning to trim correctly and selecting the right waves for your ability. However, new goals are quickly attained when you first start bodyboarding, and it’s this quick progression that will really allow you to make the most from your private lesson.

Our Private Bodyboard Lessons offer an intensive level of one-to-one tuition that you won’t experience in regular group lessons when bodyboarding in Cornwall. You also get feedback on every ride so your performance will skyrocket, even if you’re a complete beginner. With our private lesson option, you receive all the instructors’ focus; this makes it easy to tailor the lesson to your particular needs.

We also offer a private group option if you want to learn with your partner, your friends or even your colleagues!

How Do Our Private Lessons Work?

From the comfort of our heated changing rooms, you will be supplied with a top quality Rip Curl wetsuit, high visibility ID vest, fins and bodyboard. We also have storage and lockers to store your clothes and valuables before warming up on Newquay’s famous Towan Beach. Not only will you have your instructor’s undivided attention, but also they will carefully plan and adapt the lesson according to your learning style and personal goals. You’re guaranteed to boost your confidence in the water as well as your bodyboarding skills.

We don’t send our customers out on bodyboards that we wouldn’t be happy to ride ourselves; that’s why we only invest in the best quality equipment available on the market. We supply first-rate bodyboards, wetsuits and swim fins on our bodyboard lessons, putting you in the best possible position to kick-start your learning.

Our helpful instructors will provide you with the correct size bodyboard for your weight, the right size wetsuit for your height and the best fitting swim fins for your feet. This top-quality kit enables faster progression, bigger improvements and makes for an all-round more enjoyable lesson.

All equipment including wetsuits, bodyboards, ID vests and swim fins are provided along with changing facilities and safe storage for your valuables. We also have on-site lockers for bags and clothes so you don’t have to leave your gear unattended on the beach!
