Our surfing, bodyboarding, SUP, kayak and coasteering adventure training packages offer demanding outdoor training that go hand in hand with the British Army’s high standards and core values of developing leadership, teamwork and other personal qualities such as resilience, physical fitness, and courage that are necessary to enhancing operational effectiveness.
The Newquay Activity Centre is strategically located right in the thick of the action on Newquay’s iconic Towan beach, in view of Towan Headland, where on the one side is the UK’s most famous surfing spots, Fistral Beach, and on the other, the Gazzle, where we run our exhilarating coasteering sessions. Both stunningly beautiful locations, and just a 2-minute stroll from the NAC’s heated changing facilities, hot showers, on-site mini bus and safe storage for valuables.
Our Adventure Training packages are not restricted to the Army, in fact, they are open to all servicemen and women in both the Air Force and Navy as well, and to those injured and/or disabled who can participate through the Battle Back initiative. For more information on how we can set up a bespoke adventurous training package for your brigade, then drop us a line at the Newquay Activity Centre on 01637 877722.
At the Newquay Activity Centre, we like to work hard and play hard, and like the Army, we like to be the best! And in doing so we are proudly ranked number one on Tripadvisor, are two time winners of the Cornish Tourism awards, two time silver winners of the South West Tourism Awards, and the longest running and most reputable activity centre in Newquay. With us, your troops couldn’t be in better hands for their annual adventurous training!
