How Does It Work?

This unforgettable experience is action packed, adrenaline filled and perfect for families of all ages. The Super SUP private experience is our latest and greatest in boredom-busting family fun. From the comfort of our heated changing rooms, you and your family will be kitted out with top of the range Rip Curl wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmets and paddles.

We launch and land from two of Newquay’s lush, semi-secret coves. The start to experience is an adventure, as we walk down a rock path to the water’s edge. It’s worth it as the scenery is breath taking, there is some incredible coastal wildlife in the area, and you really are experiencing the best of Newquay’s coastal fringe. We take the walk down to the water slowly, the Super SUP will be waiting in the cove for you.

Once you’re feeling warm and safe, you will join one of our experienced instructors to paddle this giant craft around our breath-taking Cornish coastline. Along the way you’ll take in secret coves, smugglers’ tunnels and interesting marine life that call these craggy cliffs home.

After some exploration, you’ll drop anchor and play a range of hilarious family-friendly games (King of the SUP, Sumo SUP, Drunken Sailor and SUP racing) before throwing any family feuds to one side and working together to paddle along the coast as a team.

An Educational, Active Adventure

In addition to sure-fire laughter and exploration, our Family Super SUP Tours offer a balance of physical activity, team spiritedness and education. By the end of the session you and your family will have learnt how to kneel and stand up paddle as a team, safely navigating the Newquay coast together.

You will also have the opportunity to identify local marine life such as crabs, seals, seabirds and dolphins. Our expert team of qualified instructors instil ocean safety lessons and will ignite a healthy interest and appreciation in the ocean and its environment.
