Something For Everyone

For your Super Stand Up Paddle Boarding in Cornwall adventure, we’ll kit you out in a top of the range wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet and paddle from the comfort of our heated changing rooms. Your group will be led by our team of guides down to Newquay Bay where you’ll launch this awesome craft – all aboard!

We launch and land from two of Newquay’s lush, semi-secret coves. The start to experience is an adventure, as we walk down a rock path to the water’s edge. It’s worth it as the scenery is breath taking, there is some incredible coastal wildlife in the area, and you really are experiencing the best of Newquay’s coastal fringe. We take the walk down to the water slowly, the Super SUP will be waiting in the cove for you.

Our Super SUP Tour has been designed to teach you many core skills including how to launch and land, stand up and balance, hold your paddle, perform basic strokes and how to make directional changes as a team. It’s natural to begin your Super SUP Tour kneeling down on the board, many people do. Our instructors are there to guide you step-by-step. You’ll confidently progress from kneeling to standing, by the end of the lesson you’ll be a pro!

This Is The Ultimate Way To Enjoy Our Coastlines!

Under the watchful eye of our expert instructor, you’ll work as a team to navigate craggy coastlines, cliffs, caves and currents. Throughout the tour, our passionate guides will be on hand to give you a fascinating insight into Newquay’s mythical past as well as helping you spot interesting marine wildlife.

After exploring Newquay’s coastal landscape and mastering some basic moves, you’ll moor up your Super SUP for a variety of hilariously fun games. These include the appropriately titled King of the SUP, Sumo SUP and, of course, a bit of classic SUP racing! With the games revealing some winners and some losers (but mostly some very wet contestants!) you’ll negotiate the swell to head back towards dry land. In between the fun and games you will also have some ‘freestyle’ time to jump, flip, swim and splash your way around the Super SUP. After your Super SUP Tour we have hot outdoor showers and heated changing rooms for your convenience. We also have a well-equipped hire centre for all of your post-lesson needs. Get back out on the water with a SUP of your own, try an alternative paddle sport in a kayak, or enjoy the shoreline on a surfboard or bodyboard.
