Ready to get festive? We certainly are!
Here at Newquay Activity Centre, we have teamed up with our partner companies Women + Waves, Bodyboard Holidays and our Outdoor Activity Instructor Academy to raise money for the RNLI. We hope to spread the Christmas cheer whilst raising money for a great cause. The RNLI are so important in keeping us all safe on the coastline, and they are entirely funded by charity, so any donation you give will have an impact.
The whole staff team will be paddling the Gannel Estuary dressed as Father Christmas- it will be quite the sight! Our director, Rob Barber, says “we are really grateful to the RNLI for doing such a great job and keeping us safe, and this is a token of our appreciation”. We love giving back to the community around us, and the RNLI are particularly special to us, as we couldn’t do our jobs without them making sure that the sea is a safe place to be.
We will be floating down the Gannel Estuary on December 16th at 2:30 pm- it would be great to see you there, cheering us on and showing support. To sponsor the team and raise money for this awesome cause please visit Go Fund Me and search “Santa Stand Up Paddleboard”, or follow the link:
Any little helps!
Be sure to make a note of the date in your diary and spread the word. Thank you for your support!
