Sightings of dolphins and seals are always a treat, and when we see the distant silhouette of a dorsal fin we reach for our camera in excitement. However, this lucky surfer got a lot more dorsal fin than they’d bargained for, when some curious dolphins came ultra close and gate crashed the line-up. This has to go down as a once in a lifetime surf, and luckily the special moment was captured for prosperity.
We pinch ourselves everyday that this is our home. The natural environment around Newquay has an abundance of incredible marine life, so always keep your eyes peeled and your camera ready, as you never know what you’ll spot next.
