With the arrival of warmer seas and sunnier weather, Cornwall is the perfect destination for exciting ocean adventures. With toasty warm wetsuits, quiet beaches and some of the best ocean conditions and spring tides. Easter is a brilliant time to head to Newquay for some family surfing, bodyboarding or coasteering.

This Easter Newquay Activity Centre are offering the following ocean activites, great for all the family:

Heritage Coasteer

Kitted out in a wetsuit and buoyancy aid, with a helmet and wetsuit boots you’ll experience Cornwall’s coastal fringe as you’ve never seen it before. Brilliant for families, friends or individuals.

Prepare yourself to be spun around in swirling whirlpools, to enjoy the rapid rides of coastal sluice currents, scramble through beautiful coves, coming face to face with the UK’s incredible coastal nature. You’ll have the option to take breathtaking leaps in to deep water plunge pools. Compose yourself for fun coasteering traverses (low level climbing) and feel the rush of swimming through fast-running gullies and exploring smugglers caves.

Through out the experience you’ll learn about the incredible heritage of Newquay’s awesome coastline. With amazing tales of smugglers, pirates, heroic lifeboatmen and big wave surfing at the UK’s premier big wave spot ‘The Cribbar’.

The heritage coasteer is pitched at a suitable level of intensity to suit each group. Just enough thrills to keep everyone excited whilst nobody is made scared or uncomfortable. An education of the regions past and an exciting expedition around the coast that will see the group learn about nature, culture, history and ocean skills.
