Every nook and cranny of Newquay’s coastline is home to native marine wildlife as well as being the perfect playground for our water sport activities.

We’re now working in close partnership with the Cornwall Wildlife Trust, the leading local wildlife charity working to protect Cornwall’s wildlife and wild places, to raise awareness about Cornwall’s wildlife through education and responsible practice.

How is NAC helping to manage our coastline?

Wildlife friendly management is a big deal to us, and that’s why here at the Newquay Activity Centre, our professional instructors will lead you on surfing, bodyboarding and coasteering activities with an environmentally responsible outlook; to respect, maintain and enjoy! From Barnacles to Basking Sharks, our behaviour on the coast affects wildlife of all types and sizes, so it’s important to know how to make as little negative impact as possible on the environment’s native species.

Our activities are the perfect hands-on way to appreciate and explore the coastline whilst getting your adrenaline pumping!
