The Help Izzy Walk Foundation is a prominent one here in Newquay. Started by the parents of 5 year old Izzy Pearce, they’re trying to raise £80,000 for a life changing spinal operation called SDR.
This procedure is the most likely to help Izzy, a sufferer of Cerebral Palsy Spastic Diplegia to walk. We have been supporting the foundation through 2016 and are over joyed with the support that they have received from the Newquay community.
One of the Foundation’s benefactors, Chuck Haynes and his family recently joined us for a full day of coastal activities and adventures as we threw them into the deep end with Bodyboarding and Coasteering.
Newquay Coasteering and Surfing
They were stoked and ready to go with the wetsuits and rash vests on in the morning and despite some tired muscles, had huge grins on their faces by the end of the day. Our activities are adrenaline-fuelled experiences you’ll never forget. They are pledging an undisclosed sum to the charity which will no doubt go a long way to helping Izzy with her life changing treatment.
