Newquay Activity Centre – Working With Local Businesses

Book your next adventure!

The Newquay Activity Centre team relax at Ocean Surf Lodge on the launch night of their new bistro.

We have been working hard at Newquay Activity Centre to support the town’s businesses and economy in recent times.  With tourism as one of the main industries in Cornwall, we believe it is important to work closely with local businesses to support them wherever possible.

In particular, we work with accommodation suppliers in the local area, offering them our activities and ensuring they have a great time, so that they will want to return.  We also try to make the booking process as smooth as possible by recommending accommodation to our customers and forging reciprocal links.

We were pleased to receive this testimonial from one of the accommodation providers in Newquay this week.

Inside Ocean Surf Lodge Newquay

Ocean Surf Lodge works closely with Newquay Activity Centre, they are our preferred supplier of coastal activities as their professionalism and knowledge of the local area is second to none. We send substantial amounts of bookings to NAC on that basis, we trust that they will deliver above and beyond the expectations of our customers and offer a memorable experience with unique knowledge of the stunning local coastline.  From a local business perspective, collaboration with our peers is the key to our success and we both co-promote each others services to our respective guests – we both benefit from promoting the very best of our town to visitors.”

Thank you for the feedback Carol and Craig.  we look forward to working with you and your guests again this season.

Marine Wildlife Cornwall.

Newquay Wildlife – 80 Marine Species Spotted While Coasteering in Cornwall!

On rare occasions throughout the year we get super low tides that recede a lot further than usual uncovering parts of this beautiful coastline that normally go unseen. Both the general public and CWT members were treated to a very special coasteer team that included Marine Awareness Officer Matt Slater and local Eco Coasteer legend Karl Fice-Thomson. Due to the extreme low tide it was predicted that an area already abundant in wildlife would prove extra special with rock pools and caves normally inaccessible a likely haven to different species.
