The winds have picked up and swell is surging- winter is well and truly underway. However, Cornwall often benefits from milder seasons, meaning that the cold weather is significantly less than other areas of the UK. Currently, our temperatures are still firmly in double figures, perfect for a dip in the ocean- just bring your wetsuit! Plus, Newquay is full of cosy cafes for you to warm up in and grab a bite to eat post-surf.
Our activity centre is situated on Fore Street, a buzzing area right in the heart of Newquay. Being just metres from Towan Beach and Newquay Harbour, and less than ten minutes walk from Fistral Beach, you can get out of the sea and straight into our hot showers and heated changing rooms, before warming up with a coffee from one of the nearby eateries.
Being this close to the town centre means we have tried and tested all of the coffees going, so here’s our top picks of where to go for your caffeine fix.
