Since December, we’ve been living in and loving our new home, situated right in the heart of Newquay’s town centre, on Fore Street. With summer well and truly in full swing, we thought now is a great time to show you around, give you some insight on our facilities and equipment, and introduce a new member of the team.
WHERE WE ARE
Fore Street is a great place to be- lined with quirky coffee shops, new places to eat and independent stores, this street captures Newquay’s buzz. Just moments from the dazzling blue water of the harbour and Towan beach, and with Fistral beach a ten minute walk away, we are now perfectly placed between the town’s best beaches. Take to the smooth waters of the harbour on a SUP, try your hand at bodyboarding for the first time in the gentle waves of the bay, kayak out into the deep water or head up to Fistral for an exhilarating time in the more advanced surf. We are also positioned right next to some of the town’s most vibrant bars and clubs, so unwind with a drink or two after a day out on the water.
PLENTY OF SPACE
Our activity centre has just the right amount of space to fit in all the necessary facilities. On site, we have heated changing rooms, hot outdoor showers, separate male & female toilets, a training room, TV’s to explain each activity and secure storage with lock boxes for your valuables. We even offer a dog sitter if you require it whilst you’re out on the water- just ask!
There are also pay and display car parks just moments from the facility.
We are fully stocked up with all the equipment you may need for your watersports, and these are provided free of charge when you book on an activity with us, or can be hired separately if you want to head out to the water by yourself. We stock a full range of top-quality kit selected exclusively from the best brands in the business. We have surfboards, bodyboards, kayaks, stand up paddleboards, wetsuits, buoyancy aids and accessories all ready for hire in a variety of sizes.
On arrival to the centre, our fully-trained and experienced staff will be on hand to supply and fit you with the correct size gear, and we have kit and equipment for all ages.
WELCOME TO THE TEAM, DAN
Our spotlight at the moment is on Dan, our new Head of Sales. Dan joined the NAC team in early 2021 after a successful career working with many of Europe’s best surf retailers. After working and surfing at some of the best beaches around the world, he has a great scope of knowledge about the industry and our activities. We love having him on board!
