Push Boundaries

A demanding sport that requires strength, expertise and tenacity, bodyboarding is the ideal option for fine-tuning your soldiers skill sets. Despite its popularity with relative ocean newbies, bodyboarding definitely is not an easy option. Mastering the sport teaches fundamental transferable skills which include pushing through boundaries and perceived limitations, making it ideal for military adventure training in Newquay.

As an alternative to the usual regime back at base, our Military Bodyboarding Lessons are designed to push mental and physical boundaries in a fun and enjoyable environment. Our closest beach and adventure playground is Towan beach, an area that enjoys consistent quality swell from the nearby Atlantic ocean. These reliable conditions make Towan beach the perfect destination for learning to bodyboard with your colleagues and closest mates.

Your whole unit will be kitted out in top-quality Rip Curl wetsuits from the comfort of our on-site heated changing rooms. You will then be supplied with bodyboards and swim fins to take down to the water’s edge. From here your industry-leading instructor will teach you the basics in ocean safety and technical bodyboarding skills.

After a few dry runs on the shoreline, it’s time to hit the water and practice what you’ve learned! Bodyboarding is easy to learn and addictive to master! Throughout the lesson your troops will revel in the challenges set by our instructors, helping them to fulfil their full potential.

As part of a multi-activity programme, our bodyboarding lessons are structured to offer rapid progression which enables your team to learn quickly.
