Life-saving And Coast Guarding Skills

Combining flag & fitness games, command task pursuits, life-saving skills and coast guard challenges, your military group will be confronted and pushed both physically and mentally.

We have designed this unique challenge to test problem-solving abilities and surf life-saving skills on the best surf beaches Cornwall has to offer. The challenges may be tough but the backdrop is beautiful!

Top-quality Equipment

Your whole unit will be kitted out in top-quality Rip Curl wetsuits from the comfort of our on-site heated changing rooms. You will then be supplied with surfboards and leashes to take down to the water’s edge. From here your industry-leading instructor will teach you the basics in ocean safety and the technical life-saving skills required from all beach lifeguards.

Building Transferable Skills

You will use a variety of equipment most commonly found in an RNLI lifeguards arsenal. These will include rescue boards, surfboards, bodyboards and, not forgetting, the all-important Peterson tube. It’s a beach and ocean experience like no other, a session crammed full of physical and mental challenges ideal for military personnel. However, learning within tough natural elements is the ultimate way to boost your capabilities and where better to test your strengths than on the breathtaking beaches of Newquay!
