Push Boundaries

Pushing your team well out of their comfort zones, our Military Adventure Training Surf Lessons are designed to build confidence, conquer fears and boost banter to get one another through tough swell situations.

As an alternative to the usual training regime back at base, our Military Surf Lessons are designed to push mental and physical boundaries in a fun and enjoyable environment. Our closest beach and adventure playground is Great Western beach, an area that enjoys consistent quality swell from the nearby Atlantic ocean. These reliable conditions make Great Western beach the perfect destination for learning to surf.

Top-quality Equipment

Your whole unit will be kitted out in top-quality wetsuits from the comfort of our on-site heated changing rooms. You will then be supplied with surfboards and leashes to take down to the water’s edge. From here your industry-leading instructor will teach you the basics in ocean safety and technical surf skills.

After a few practice paddles and pop-ups on the shoreline, it’s time to hit the water and practice what you’ve learned! Although we have excellent stand-up rates, conquering something new in the first lesson is a great way of honing your mental and physical capabilities to overcome adversity.

Whether you block-book a selection of weekly adventure training sessions or would prefer a whole week of daily sessions, our friendly team will be able to help. As part of a multi-activity programme, our surfing lessons are structured to offer rapid progression which enables your team to learn quickly. They’ll practise and remember techniques that help develop important ocean safety-awareness skills, important not only on the job, but in all areas of coastal life.

Work on your resilience while navigating tides, rip currents, rocks, the role of lifeguards and basic first aid; once you know about them, it is hard to forget them.  We have years of experience in dealing with Military groups and are proud to have signed an official military covenant, along with working alongside Help For Heroes to deliver activities for our Veterans.
