You’ll get kitted out in a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet in our on-site, heated changing rooms with storage and lockers for all your belongings. You will then head down to the beach to negotiate a route recommended by one of the most highly qualified coasteering leaders in Cornwall. For family activity holidays in Newquay, our low tide coasteering route is highly popular as you can access every aspect of the coastline including the historic smugglers caves!

Our Family Coasteering offers a private group experience and we welcome children from the age of 3 years and onwards. All children under the age of 8 need a parent or guardian to be present throughout their activity. If the parent isn’t a paying member of the group the child can still participate. However the adult needs to be waiting on the water’s edge and be contactable by the trip leader by mobile phone. Our Family Coasteers are memorable, exhilarating, safe and fun for children of all ages.
SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
With your own instructors, our Family or Private Group Coasteers can be tailored to the group’s abilities, focusing on particular aspects of our coastline’s exhilarating environment. Whether it’s adrenaline fuelled jumps and rapid riding you’re after, or an eco-focussed approach with caves and rock pools; we have the perfect coasteer for you. For younger children we can also embed coastal safety messages to up-skill the youngsters in ocean safety.

OUR EXPERTISE
We are the longest running Newquay Coasteering centre. We launched our first coasteer in 1999, and pioneered a number of the routes along Newquay’s coastime, even naming Adventure Gully.
We have since diversified to offer unique coasteering hybrids such as Super SUP Coasteering, Kayak coasteering, Cornish Castaway, and Heritage coasteering. With over 200,000 guests passing through the centre, more than any other coasteer company in the UK, our experience has been gained organically and reflects in our endless positive reviews.
We have shaped coasteering in the UK through the development of coasteer guide training courses, training many of the coasteer guides in the local and national industry through our 3 months instructor course. We are registered members of the National Coasteering Charter and our coasteer leads are signed off to work by John Paul Eatock, the National Coasteering Charter Regional Rept. John is widely recognised as the foremost coasteer expert in the country.
Ongoing in house training maintains the highest standards of safety and knowledge sharing to ensure that we maintain our excellent safety record.

Our safety record is unblemished, as we work alongside the RNLI to ensure conditions and activities are appropriate for our activities.
